The video – posted publicly to Reform UK Colne Valley Branch – appeared to capture a man and a woman on camera removing ‘Vote Reform’ posters from lampposts, it has been reported.
The clip, posted on Saturday (May 2), was captioned: “Yet again, more Reform UK electoral signage being illegally removed in the Colne Valley constituency. It’s an offence to remove electoral posters.”
Prior to the incident , Reform UK Colne Valley Branch predicted they had lost “over 250” signs from lampposts across all five Colne Valley Wards in a previous Facebook post. In the UK, it is a criminal offence to remove or damage legitimate election posters.
