The New York Jets are reportedly going to bench Zach Wilson and play Tim Boyle at Quarterback on Friday against Miami Dolphins.
Wilson endured another dreadful afternoon as the Jets were beaten 32-6 by the Bills on Sunday.
And now, according to Ian Rapoport, it has prompted coach Robert Saleh into action. And SNY goes a step further, saying a release for Wilson, allowing him to start fresh somewhere else, is not out of the question.
The Jets are on a three-game losing skid and after Sunday’s loss are 4-6 for the season and third in AFC East.
Wilson was benched for Boyle towards the end of the Bills lost and speaking afterwards, Saleh stopped short of confirming Wilson for the Dolphins.Â
