Bruno Fernandes‘ 91st-minute winner earned Manchester United a crucial 1-0 win at Fulham on Saturday to ease some of the pressure on Erik ten Hag.
The visitors thought they had gone in front inside the opening 10 minutes, but Scott McTominay‘s tap-in was ruled out after a four-minute VAR review as Harry Maguire was deemed to be offside in the build-up.Â
United struggled to push on after that setback, and the game looked set to end goalless after another disappointing performance from Ten Hag’s men. But Fernandes stepped up when he was most needed, firing into the bottom corner from the edge of the area as the clocked ticked into added time to give his side all three points.Â
