Shannon Sharpe urged to shoot his shot with Kim Kardashian by Chad Ochocinco – who tells the NFL analyst, 55, to use Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance as inspiration!

Chad Ochocinco has urged Shannon Sharpe to make a move on Kim Kardashian as he encouraged the former NFL tight end to take a page out of Travis Kelce‘s book.

During the latest episode of their ‘Nightcap with Unc and Ocho’ podcast this week, Johnson revealed how Kelce’s relatively fresh romance with Taylor Swift inspired him to come up with the suggestion, as he thinks that ‘Kim K’ may be the ‘perfect’ person for Sharpe.

‘You ain’t go no old lady, right? And I told you that I’ve been searching, looking and talking to some people,’ said Johnson, who previously changed his last name to ‘Ochocinco’ many times during his playing days while wearing jersey number, 85.

‘I saw Kim [Kardashian], like she said, ”Oh I’m looking for an older man after my separation from Pete Davidson and I’m like, ”Oh s***, that’s crazy.”’

Kardashian, 42, dated the former SNL member, who’s 13 years younger than her, for nine months before going their separate ways in August 2022.

Johnson, who was an NFL wideout, has told Sharpe to take a page out of Travis Kelce’s book

‘Lord have mercy,’ said Sharpe, 55, before putting his head down and cracking up.

Johnson was adamant in his assessment that both Sharpe and Kardashian would gel well together because they’re both ‘focused and busy’ in their own respective lives and careers.

But, Sharpe clarified that he doesn’t want any beef from Kardashian’s ex-husband, Kanye West, when Johnson asked his thoughts on the suggestion.

‘Man, Kanye ain’t gonna write no diss track about me,’ Sharpe quipped, to which Johnson replied that ‘Kanye isn’t in the picture right now.’

West and Kardashian, who share four children in North, 10, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4, were married for eight years.

They settled for divorce in November 2022 and less than a month after that, West, 46, married Bianco Censori, who’s reportedly a 28-year-old architect.

‘Think about what happened with Travis Kelce,’ Johnson said, referring to the Chiefs tight end expressing his desire to meet Swift in public on his ‘New Heights’ podcast.

‘Taylor Swift came into his life and everything exponentially shot up. Think about with Kim and that entity itself can do for Club Shay Shay.’

Then, Sharpe, who couldn’t stop laughing at the thought of Johnson’s idea, referred to Kardashian’s comments on the latest installment of her family’s reality TV show, in which she said that she’s looking for a man who’s ‘a little more age appropriate.’

‘[She] said she’s looking for someone in her forties. Clearly I’m not in my forties,’ said Sharpe.

Johnson then told the three-time Super Bowl champion that he looks much younger for his age.

‘I don’t have an excuse other than the visibility,’ Sharpe said. ‘I’m too private. I wish her the best and finest.’

Johnson failed to agree with his podcast partner.

‘You need to rethink this because you’re not thinking straight right now,’ the former wideout said, to which Sharpe responded: ‘If I went out with Kim Kardashian, man we’ll wake up tomorrow and ”Unc and Ocho” would have two million subscribers.’

Johnson didn’t see a problem with that, whatsoever.

‘Kim, I know you’re going to see this,’ he said. ‘Listen, chess not checks, mama, with all do respect.’

Sharpe commended the head of the Kardashian clan, Kris Jenner, for building the family’s business ventures, and wish them nothing but more success in the future.

Kardashian, on the other hand, has revealed that she’s ‘genuinely okay with being myself for a minute and the right situation will come my way.’ Earlier this month, the American socialite was spotted showing up for jury duty at a California courthouse.
