Kenan Yildiz seems to have rediscovered his best form since the arrival of Igor Tudor at Juventus, and a top-four finish in Serie A appears crucial for the Bianconeri if they want to retain their highly sought-after star while also investing in their top transfer targets, including Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund.

The Turkey international immediately repaid the new coach’s trust by scoring two goals in Tudor’s first three games in charge, helping the Old Lady claim two victories and one draw—enough to leapfrog Bologna into fourth place and take the lead in the race for the final Champions League spot.

Yildiz’s recent form has quickly dispelled the doubts surrounding him in the final months of Thiago Motta’s tenure, during which the attacking midfielder had scored only one goal in his last 10 appearances.

However, with a number of Premier League powerhouses keeping tabs on the 19-year-old, Juventus are now under pressure to ensure they qualify for the Champions League to avoid having to make a profit by selling one of their most highly valued stars.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, missing out on the revenues guaranteed by the major European competition would make it difficult for the Bianconeri to reject lucrative offers from the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea, all of whom are reportedly interested in Yildiz.

Additionally, Juventus will need substantial financial firepower to bring in reinforcements from the transfer market –Manchester United are said to have set a €60m price tag on former Atalanta striker Hojlund, one of the profiles Juventus are considering to strengthen their attack.

Qualifying for the Champions League would be vital to allow the Old Lady to invest in new players without being forced to sacrifice anyone, particularly Yildiz.
