The Netflix Star Search is a reboot of the reality series of the same name, hosted by actor-comedian Anthony Anderson. It centers on contestants competing in categories such as Music, Comedy, Variety, and Dance.
It is a five-week event featuring live performances, during which viewers can vote for their favorite contestants in real time. Each contestant’s score is determined by a combination of both judges’ and audience scores. Its judging panel includes singer Jelly Roll, actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, and television personality Chrissy Teigen.
