Liverpool will try and get back into the win column on Saturday, as they take on Leeds United to wrap up the English Premier League slate.
After a strong start to the new season, Liverpool has been a bumbling mess as of late. The club won its first five matches of the year, but fell back to lose four straight league contests. They have been up and down ever since, losing to Manchester City and Nottingham Forest in consecutive contests, before finally getting back on the winning side of things against West Ham this past Sunday.
Liverpool did grab a point this past Wednesday against Sunderland, salvaging a 1-1 draw against the Black Cats, giving the Reds points in back-to-back league contests.
The club sits eighth in the table, two points back of fourth place.
Leeds is worrying about their status in the table. After receiving promotion last year, the club might be heading back down to the Championship, if it is not careful. The Whites did score a stunning win over Chelsea on Wednesday, snapping a four-match losing skid.
Leeds is three points ahead of West Ham for 18th place in the EPL.
