Two clubs on opposite halves of the English Premier League table meet up on Sunday, as Chelsea looks to grab a win on the road against Crystal Palace.
Chelsea might be a club experiencing topsy-turvy results this season, but they still remain near the top of the EPL standings, with a chance to qualify for European competition next season.
The Blues, just a few days removed from a UEFA Champions League battle with Patos, are hoping to build off a solid 2-0 win over Brentford last Saturday. It snapped a five-match winless drought in league play, which included losses to Fulham and Aston Villa.
Chelsea entered the weekend sixth in the table, one point back of Manchester United for fifth place, and two behind fourth-place Liverpool.
At one point, Crystal Palace looked like a club that was going to be able to sneak into a European spot. However, the club has come down to Earth in recent weeks, seemingly putting the team back in its usual place – near the middle of the Premiership.
The Eagles have gone winless in seven straight EPL matches, including a tough 2-1 loss on the road to Sunderland last week. CP sits down in 13th, six points behind Chelsea.
