Wednesday Season 3 has added three big stars to the cast of the Jenna Ortega Netflix show.
Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, Wednesday is the supernatural mystery comedy show centered around Wednesday Addams, the Addams Family character who was created by Charles Addams. The first season premiered in 2022, while Season 2 then arrived last year. In July 2025, the show was renewed for a third season.
Who has joined the cast of Wednesday Season 3?
Per The Hollywood Reporter, it has now been announced that Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, and James Lance have joined the cast of Wednesday Season 3. Character details are not available at this time.
It was previously announced that the Wednesday Session 3 cast will also include Eva Green, Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer.Â
Others who are returning from previous seasons include Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair, Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger, Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, Billie Piper as Isadora Capri, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Sheriff Ritchie Santiago, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Evie Templeton as Anges DeMille, Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump, and Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester.
Headey is best known for playing Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones and the titular character in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. She’s also been in movies such as 2007’s 300, 2012’s Dredd, 2013’s The Purge, 2019’s Fighting with My Family, and more.
McCarthy previously starred in 1985’s St. Elmo’s Fire, 1986’s Pretty in Pink, 1989’s Weekend at Bernie’s, and much else, while Lance is known for playing Trent Crimm on Ted Lasso.
Wednesday Season 3 is currently in production. A premiere date has not yet been set.
