In the wake of FC Barcelona’s 3-1 win over Deportivo Alaves, head coach of the Blaugrana, Hansi Flick, has spoken glowingly about Brazilian winger Raphinha who made his return after a two month absence due to injury.
Raphinha provided the assist to Dani Olmo for the first of the latter’s pair of goals before Pedri replaced him in the 60th minute. Like Raphinha, the game marked Pedri’s return from injury.
Ahead of the game, Hansi Flick called on Lamine Yamal to forget his poor performance against Marc Cucurella in Barca’s 3-0 loss to Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League and the teenager responded with a goal and an assist. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
For Flick, having Raphinha return from injury is a plus to his team as the Brazilian’s presence is important for Barcelona.
“Winning is important and it should give us confidence. Raphinha is a player who gives us game dynamics.”

“We have missed him, and for me he is important because he gives a lot of intensity. When he starts the pressure, everyone is ready to do it. It’s very important that he’s back” Hansi Flick said according to Dario AS.
