vivo X200 FE now rumored to be on its way as a variation of an existing model

vivo’s X200 family has just added two members earlier this week, the X200s and X200 Ultra, but the company isn’t done just yet, according to a new rumor. Instead, the vivo X200 FE is coming, allegedly.

This is due to land in India soon instead of the X200 Pro mini which was earlier rumored to make it to the country. vivo apparently decided to rename it and tweak some of the specs.

Thus, the X200 FE reportedly comes with a 6.31-inch 1216×2640 LTPO OLED flat screen with curved edges and a 120 Hz refresh rate, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset at the helm, a dual rear camera system (50 MP main, 50 MP telephoto), a 50 MP selfie snapper, and support for 90W fast wired charging.

Compared to the X200 Pro mini, the SoC is different (and the Dimensity 9400e hasn’t been unveiled yet so we can only assume it will be a lower bin version of the 9400, in the same way that the 9400+ is the higher bin option), and there’s one less camera on the rear (the ultrawide is missing). Of course, there may be other differences as well, but these haven’t been leaked yet.

We assume all of the changes are there to allow the phone to hit a very good price point in India. It’s said to be launching in late June or early July, and by then we’ll surely hear much more about it, so stay tuned.
