Vivien Endemann: Liverpool agree deal to sign Germany forward

Liverpool have reached an agreement to sign Germany international Vivien Endemann when her contract expires at Wolfsburg this summer.

The 24-year-old forward will join on 1 July following three seasons with Wolfsburg and a seven-year stay in her homeland.

Endemann has 17 senior international caps for her country, scoring three times, and was part of the squad that won bronze at the 2024 Olympic Games.

She has scored three goals and provided three assists in eight Frauen-Bundesliga starts this season, as well as netting in a 5-2 victory over Manchester United in the Women’s Champions League in November.

Endemann was also on the scoresheet in both of Germany’s most recent Women’s World Cup qualifying victories over Slovenia and Norway in March.

It is a strong start to Liverpool’s summer transfer business, with the club moving away from the bottom of the Women’s Super League table this season following a difficult start.

They currently sit 10th in the table, eight points above bottom club Leicester City, after a bright second half of the campaign and the arrival of new players in January.

Gareth Taylor’s side will also compete in the Women’s FA Cup semi-finals when they face Brighton on 10 May (14:00 GMT kick-off).

Endemann previously spent two years with SGS Essen and SV Meppen before joining two-time Women’s Champions League winners Wolfsburg in 2023.
