BLS International, a global tech-enabled services provider for visa and consular processing, said it has witnessed a steady rise in applications as travel restrictions ease and more countries open their borders. The company has expanded its global footprint with new visa application centres and introduced digital solutions to handle the increased demand.

According to the company, visa volumes processed in the current financial year have already surpassed levels seen before the COVID-19 pandemic, underscoring a strong revival in demand for cross-border travel.
In addition to visa services, BLS International’s subsidiary, Citizenship Invest, is expanding its portfolio of global mobility services. The firm has added Nauru to its list of citizenship-by-investment programs and introduced a new category under Latvia’s residency by investment initiative. It is also developing new citizenship and golden visa programs to address growing interest in investment migration options.
The data shared by BLS reflects a broader trend of rising outbound travel from India. According to travel industry estimates, Indian outbound travel is expected to cross 30 million trips in 2024, driven by growing demand for tourism, business, education, and family visits. Popular destinations such as the United States, Schengen countries, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Southeast Asia have seen a surge in visa applications as more Indians plan international trips.
Reports from travel booking platforms also indicate an increase in demand for long-haul travel, with Europe, North America, and Australia topping the charts for Indian travelers. The rising demand has led to longer visa appointment waiting times in several embassies and consulates, making the role of visa service providers like BLS International crucial in ensuring smoother application processes.
