Valverde suspended for one game

Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde will serve a one-game suspension after the red card he saw during the team’s win against Atlético de Madrid in the Derby. Real Madrid appealed the red card but it didn’t go through and the Spanish Football Federation suspended the midfielder for just one game, meaning that Valverde will miss the team’s upcoming match in Mallorca on April 4th.

Valverde will return to the starting lineup when Real Madrid host Bayern Munich on April 7th, so the coaching staff will be hoping to see him keeping his great form up in what’s expected to be a tough Quarterfinals meeting between the two European giants.

Without him, Eduardo Camavinga could potentially start against Mallorca, although Jude Bellingham might also be ready to feature in the starting lineup after this current FIFA break.
