Fall is around the corner, which means it’s almost time to sip that hot coffee (or tea) outside in the brisk, crisp, cool weather. If you’re someone who can’t live without their morning dose of caffeine and enjoys the simple button-press convenience of Keurig machines, we’ve found a deal that’s right up your alley — and right before sweater weather really kicks off.
Tastyle’s space-saving mini single-serve coffee and tea machine has all the makings of a Keurig but, unlike those older models that seem so wasteful today, reviewers say it’s “even better.” This thing can brew 6- to 14-ounce cups of coffee or tea, hot or iced (!), and comes with a reusable pod coffee cup that you can use with your own grounds or tea leaves. It’s also super compact at less than a foot tall and 4 inches wide, making it great for RVs, travel, offices and tight kitchen spaces. And today, although Amazon says it’s 22% off its list price, our price trackers say this is actually closer to 35% off considering its drop from $59.99 just a few months ago!
Enjoy tasty brews, hot or iced.
It’s simple: Just load the machine with a single-serve pod (or fill the reusable one with your own grounds), fill its water tank and hit its “on” button to brew a cup. Once the machine is warmed up, it’ll auto-brew as soon as its ready. You can hit the iced button to brew a stronger cup meant to dilute with ice or brew it piping hot. This thing can accommodate cups and mugs up to 14 ounces.
Plus, it’s super compact and tiny.
Measuring 8.2 x 4.2 x 10.3 inches, this thing will fit into tiny spaces, kitchens and RVs. Many reviewers even say they bring it along when traveling to avoid terrible hotel coffee.
“I was looking for a coffee machine to take on the road whenever my husband [and] I travel,” said a reviewer named Reyna Liebknecht. “Since we take a lot of roadtrips [and] I don’t wanna be wasting so much money on coffee stores. But I also wanted a machine where I could not only use K-Cups but also basic ground coffee. Which this does both!”
It’s dishwasher-safe so cleanup is easy, too. And an auto shutoff saves on energy usage at home. It’s available in gray, black, green or violet.
“I thought that I couldn’t drink coffee anymore so I gave away my old K-pod coffee machine. Then I found out that I could drink coffee so I bought this unit and this machine is much better than my old coffee machine! I just love it and use it, usually twice a day! Oh and it’s tall enough to hold my 6 inch tall mug! That’s important!” — Dianne Adams
“Got this for the jobsite trailer for break. It’s 800 watts so it’s not adding a huge load to the circuit when in use. Most models had preset 6,8,10oz cup options and you’d have to hit it again to fill a larger cup. This one runs until the tanks empty. […]
Now, this has 2 buttons on top. One marked ‘hot brew’ and one marked ‘over ice’. You don’t want the ‘hot brew’ option. It’s the hottest damn coffee I’ve ever had. It would give old ladies from the 90s PTSD. I haven’t measured the temp but it has to be just under boiling. You’ll want to use ‘over ice’ if you want functionally drinkable coffee. It’s still exceptionally hot and needs to be sipped but it won’t scald your tongue off leaving you with coffee in an insulated cup you can’t drink for a couple hours. […]
The build is what you’d expect from a coffee maker. It’s light and thin. We also have a similar size and operation Keurig that seems to take half the time to make a cup of coffee. It takes this unit about 2 minutes for 10oz. […]
Overall I’m happy with my purchase. It’s small and compact and works. Doesn’t draw too much power so we can run another pod coffee maker or a small microwave at the same time. Using the basket though I tend to make 16-20oz cups so I wish it was a bit taller. I pulled its removable base out and set it on a little box that’s 4” tall so I can put my taller insulated cups under it.” — Nicklaus 314 (This review has been edited for length. Read the full review.)“This is a great little coffee maker. It’s just the right size for traveling. Most important, it makes a delicious, piping hot cup of coffee. It comes out very hot (hotter than my Keurig) so be careful. It also was a great value. I’m really happy with it.” — Sixfire

“These mineral packets are mixed with distilled water and are crafted specifically for coffee,” Eckroth said. “They’re fantastic if you live in an area that has particularly soft or hard tap water. Of note, there are several different packet types for different roast levels and brewing methods.” We’ve linked the medium, light and dark roast profiles below, but Third Wave Water makes options for espresso, cold brew and more.

Reusable K-cup filter pods, if you own a Keurig
We’ve previously covered the benefits of reusable K-cup coffee pods like this set of three that comes with a scoop, for owners of Keurig machines. You’ll be producing less waste by not using as many single-use pods, and you can expand your coffee horizons beyond what’s available as a K-cup. The pods have a universal fit that works with most Keurig models, as well as some Cuisinart, Breville and Mr. Coffee machines — check the product images for a full list. The accompanying scoop holds exactly 2 tablespoons, the exact right portion, to make filling the pods easy-peasy.
Promising review: “We have tried 4 different brands of K-cup reusable pods. None of them clean like these. It takes almost no time to rinse them out. They last a long time. First set lasted three years with daily use by three big coffee drinkers! This is our second set. Highly recommend. The scoop was a great bonus. No more spilling the grounds when filling the pod.” — JA

Very sturdy – it is still in tip top shape, easy to clean and does the job well. It is rare to buy something these days that you know will last – but this an exception. Well worth the money.” — Moshi Mom
A bottle of liquid descaler to clean your machine
One of the simplest ways to up the quality of your coffee? Make sure your machine is clean. Get rid of mineral buildup inside the machine (aka scale) with a descaler like this 8-ounce bottle of Nuvera liquid coffee maker cleaner. This works on all types of coffee makers, according to the brand, and can work a little harder than soap to get rid of lime buildup for a better taste.
Promising review: “Life saver! A few months ago any drinks I made with my nespresso tasted off. I thought it may have been my taste buds until someone recommended I descale it. There isn’t a Nespresso boutique near me, nor did I want to pay for shipping to receive the Nespresso descaling kit, so I decided to give this a go. I’m so happy I did because my coffees taste back to normal. It made a world of difference. Not to mention the great price. I will definitely use again.” — Selena
