Lauren Tsai Presnts ‘My Dream: Our Hill’

Remnants of Art Month remain, thanks to this installation by global artist Lauren Tsai. Marking her world debut installation, ‘My Dream: Our Hill’ transforms Landmark Atrium into an immersive digital landscape. Visitors can step into a miniature world that Tsai conjured up and admire the intricately designed aesthetics. Tsai taps into themes of nostalgia, identity, and childhood imagination for the installation. Besides the installation, Tsai also collaborated with streetwear brand Human Made to offer two styles of T-shirts that embody her artistic vision. Additionally, the Mandarin Cake Shop pop-up has a limited-edition Apple Elysium tart available for just 20 pieces a day!

Sake Walk 2025

After a successful inaugural run last year, Sake Walk will return for another edition this month. The event will be a celebration of the finest rice wine creations from Japan. This year, there will be ten celebrated sake brands, eight renowned restaurants and bars, and 14 immersive sake masterclasses guided by brewery owners or sake sommeliers. Moreover, the participating restaurants will feature a special menu, complete with light bites to pair with the featured sake. Sake Walk will also bring together elite brewers under one umbrella, such as Shichiken, Dan, Manotsuru, Senkin, Fukuju, Hakuko, Takizawa, Niizawa, and Eiko Fuji.

Spotlight: A Season of Performing Arts 2025

Back for its fifth year, Spotlight: A Season of Performing Arts will present a lineup of collaborations that will explore various art forms. This year will open with ‘Fragile! Human Inside’, a mix of sound, moving images, installation, and performance art by multimedia artist GayBird. Meanwhile, an unlikely pairing of rap and contemporary rap in AKIRA will feature dancer Shimaji Yasutake and rapper Tamaki Roy. Also, three young choreographers from Hong Kong and Guangzhou will showcase their innermost thoughts through dance in Infinite Extension.

49th Hong Kong International Film Festival

The 49th Hong Kong International Film Festival will honour actor Louis Koo as this year’s Filmmaker in Focus. The Hong Kong star served as the ambassador for the festival for five years. This year’s edition will feature more than 300 screenings, including six world premieres, two international premieres, and 52 Asian premieres.  Cinephiles can expect directors Leos Carax, Albert Serra, Juho Kuosmanen, and Ando Sakura to present their work and interact with audiences. Family drama The Brightest Sun will serve as the opening film alongside Chong Keat-aun’s Pavane for an Infant. The festival will conclude with Dream (Sex Love), winner of the Golden Bear at the recent Berlinale.

Songkran Festival

The annual Songkran Festival will make a splash again this year in Kowloon City. Other than the flagship water splashing activities, the celebrations will also include a Thai-themed market. There will also be traditional Thai dance performances, electronic dance music, Muay Thai performances, and a Thai costume experience. Moreover, visitors will get the chance to try local street food and tour around Kowloon City to learn more about the neighbourhood and its historical sights.

Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt on the Beach

The Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt on the Beach will be back for its 18th edition with the same endless fun and excitement. While the event is for kids, parents will be thrilled to know that various prizes worth more than a million in total are up for grabs. Those aged three to four need to be accompanied by a guardian. Besides the egg hunt, the festivities will continue with other activities such as giant bouncy castles, inflatable games booths, and various Easter egg installations.

Coffee Hong Kong x Tokyo Coffee Festival

The renowned Tokyo Coffee Festival will make its Hong Kong debut this month, transforming the Art Park into a coffee carnival. Adding to the excitement will be cultural icon “Chill Gill”, who will make his first-ever outdoor appearance in the city. The festival’s theme, “Chill Beyond Circle”, is almost synonymous with his philosophy of “I’m Just a Chill Guy”, embracing a relaxed and mindful approach to life. Over the four-day Easter weekend, attendees can enjoy a lineup of over 100 coffee and lifestyle vendors, from renowned brands to local artisans.

Snoopy 75th Anniversary Run 2025

This April 2025, celebrate Snoopy’s 75th anniversary with this first large-scale outdoor running event in Hong Kong. Join Snoopy, Olaf, and Woodstock for a professional run or a fun run. In addition, there will be special photo spots around the venue so fans can snap pictures with Snoopy and his friends. An anniversary isn’t complete without limited-edition souvenirs. M+ Cinema Spring Edition 2025

M+ Cinema will run its Spring Edition from April to May and showcase iconic moving image works. To coincide with the Picasso for Asia exhibition, there will be three documentaries that explore the life of Pablo Picasso. M+ Cinema will also screen The System as part of the M+ Restored initiative that restores films from the Hong Kong New Wave. Don’t miss special screenings of Hollywood cult classics such as Twilight and Showgirls. Oscar-nominated films Sing Sing and A Different Man will also be shown for limited-time only.
