Squash, karate medals for HK


Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Kevin Yeung congratulated the Hong Kong, China delegation on winning one silver and one bronze medal at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou today.

 

Chan Sin-yuk bagged a silver medal in the squash Women’s Singles event, while Grace Lau scored bronze in the karate Women’s Individual Kata.

 

Lauding the athletes’ achievements, Mr Yeung said the Hong Kong, China delegation continues to shine at the games.

 

“We all witnessed the hard work of athletes and applaud for them,” he said. “We will continue to cheer for Hong Kong athletes in the remaining days of the Asian Games.”

 

The Hong Kong, China delegation has so far won 52 medals, comprising seven golds, 16 silvers and 29 bronzes, at this Asian Games.
