Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong has wrapped up his Hong Kong visit. He pointed out the distinctive advantages of both cities, and added that the two cities can further contribute to regional development via strengthened cooperation.
Besides meeting Chief Executive John Lee, Wong also met with former Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal Andrew Li, former chairwoman of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Laura Cha and HKJC Chairman Martin Liao.
On social media, the Singapore PM described his Hong Kong tour as short but meaningful, adding that he felt refreshed after becoming acquainted with the local community.
He mentioned he engaged in positive exchange with both local public and private sectors, and discussed topics including regional development.
