Several US warplanes have crashed in Kuwait, the country’s Defence Ministry said on Monday, adding that all crew members survived the incidents. It did not specify the number or type of US military jets involved, nor the cause of the crashes.
“The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense stated that several US military aircraft crashed this morning, confirming the complete safety of their crews,” the Kuwait Army posted on X.
“He explained that the relevant authorities immediately initiated search and rescue procedures, whereby the crews were evacuated and transferred to the hospital to check on their health status and provide the necessary medical care, noting that their condition is stable,” it added.
The crashes come amid heightened military activity in the region following escalating tensions between the United States, Israel and Iran.

Footage circulated by Iranian outlet Press TV appears to show a US F-15E Strike Eagle spiralling downward before impact, followed by clips of pilots ejecting and landing with parachutes over desert terrain.
Additional social media posts show at least one pilot on the ground after ejecting. Independent verification of the footage and details of the crash have not yet been provided by either US or Kuwaiti authorities.
The jet reportedly went down in Kuwaiti airspace amid intense military activity in the Gulf region.
There was no immediate official statement on the cause of the crash or the condition of the crew. It was also not immediately clear whether the aircraft was on a combat mission or a training sortie at the time of the incident.

Witnesses reported that the embassy has issued urgent security alerts advising US citizens to shelter in place and avoid outdoor movement amid continued threats of missile and drone attacks, and that personnel at the mission were sheltering indoors as a precaution.
