Ryan Madsen in front of Coyote’s Well
Coyote’s Well has found a permanent home on Wellington Main Street. After operating as a mobile coffee shop for two years, Coyote’s Well has officially opened a storefront serving coffee, tea, smoothies and pastries. Customers can walk up or use the drive-through to get their morning pick-me-ups. Carbon County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting in honor of the new business.
Ryan Madsen, the founder and owner of Coyote’s Well, explained that she started working at a coffee shop in Helper called Happiness Within nine years ago where she also met her boyfriend. From there, they decided that they should open their own shop.
“It was always the dream to open a brick-and-mortar business,” Madsen said. “We lived in our truck for a little while. We traveled, visited a bunch of coffee shops, and came home and decided it was time to do it.”
Madsen expressed how grateful she was that the community came together to help her build the shop. She was eager to get to work, providing her customers with excellent service, handing some of them their orders before they were even ready to pay.
Next week, Coyote’s Well will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and then will follow their regular hours of 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. They serve many creative and delicious options to quench anyone’s thirst.
