Sandra Bullock Finds Next Movie After Practical Magic 2 in Exciting Reunion

Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock has signed on to lead the cast of a new untitled movie, which has been officially acquired by Sony Pictures. This comes ahead of the highly anticipated theatrical release of Bullock’s Practical Magic 2 on September 11, where the acclaimed star will reprise her role as Sally Owens.

What do we know about Bullock’s untitled movie?

According to Deadline, the upcoming project will serve as a reunion between Bullock and Wicked co-writer Dana Fox, after previously working together in 2022’s adventure comedy The Lost City. In addition to starring, Bullock is also producing the movie through her Fortis Films banner. Further details about its plot and director are still being kept under wraps.

The untitled film will be written and produced by Fox through her production company Foxy Inc. The project will also be executive-produced by Foxy’s Margy Love. This marks Fox’s latest collaboration with Sony, as she currently has a multiyear TV deal with Sony Pictures Television. Besides the Wicked movies and The Lost City, her other film writing credits include What Happens in Vegas, How to Be Single, Isn’t It Romantic, and Cruella.

Besides Practical Magic 2 with Nicole Kidman, Bullock is also expected to reunite with Speed and The Lake House co-star Keanu Reeves in an untitled romantic thriller movie. At the moment, there is no update regarding the high-profile project’s current status. Bullock’s most recent movie appearances were in 2022’s Bullet Train, 2022’s The Lost City, and 2021’s The Unforgivable.
