Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge’s camera specs surface

Samsung took everyone by surprise last week when it teased the Galaxy S25 Edge, which was rumored to arrive as the Galaxy S25 Slim. The Korean brand hasn’t detailed the Galaxy S25 Edge’s specs sheet yet, but a new rumor claims the S25 Edge’s camera system will differ from what we’ve heard before.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge – previously called Galaxy S25 Slim – was rumored to sport a triple camera setup on the rear, comprising 200MP primary, 50MP telephoto, and 50MP ultrawide units. However, the S25 Edge will have a dual camera setup, which, according to an X user, will be a combination of 200MP primary and 12MP ultrawide units. The user claims this is “Internal Prototype information,” so there’s always a chance that the final product will offer something different.

That said, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra features a 50MP ultrawide camera while the S25 and S25+ sport 12MP ultrawide units, so it’s likely the S25 Edge will also come with a 12MP ultrawide camera.

The source also claims the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge’s screen will have Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, just like the S25 and S25+. The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s display is protected by Gorilla Armor 2.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to arrive around April, and while we await more details from Samsung about it, you can check out our Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge’s hands-on here.
