Ronaldo scores twice to reach 700 career club victories

Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his 700th career club win by scoring two goals in Al Nassr‘s 4-0 victory over Al Wasl in Monday’s Asian Champions League.

The feat comes just two days before the Portugal forward celebrates his 40th birthday.

The Al Nassr captain started and scored a penalty and a goal from open play as his team made it four wins in a row in all competitions and are a lock to make the knockout round of the ACL.

It was Ronaldo’s 66th triumph with Al Nassr since he joined the Saudi Pro League outfit in December 2022 after terminating his contract with Manchester United.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner launched his professional career in August 2002 and began piling up the victories.

Ronaldo won 13 games with Sporting CP before arriving to Old Trafford in 2003.

He won 214 games during his two spells with United, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances.

It was at Real Madrid where Ronaldo achieved most of his success.

He had 315 wins with Los Blancos and lifted 15 titles, including four Champions League trophies.

Ronaldo went on to win 92 games with Juventus in three seasons before returning to Manchester United in August 2021.

Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi has won 613 club career club games, including 542 with Barcelona.

Ronaldo had scored a record 921 goals as of Jan. 30, with the brace today taking his career total to 923.

The Portugal captain also holds the men’s world record for most international goals with 135.
