Redmi Turbo 4 Pro debuts with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and massive battery

The Redmi Turbo 4 was one of the first Xiaomi phones of the year and it is now getting a Pro variant sequel with the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. This is the first phone to launch with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which is configurable with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

Turbo 4 Pro also boasts a massive 7,550 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W charging. The battery can also be used as a powerbank and charge other devices with reverse wired charging at up to 22.5W speeds.

Elsewhere, Turbo 4 Pro features a 6.83-inch OLED screen with 2,772 x 1,280px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel also houses an optical fingerprint scanner and Xiaomi is advertising up to 1,600 nits peak local brightness.

The back houses a 50MP main camera (LYT-600) and an 8MP ultrawide module just like the non-Pro Redmi Turbo. The software side is covered by Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. The phone is also IP68 water and dust resistant.

Redmi Turbo 4 Pro comes in black, white and green colors. Xiaomi also partnered with Warner Bros. on a special Harry Potter edition.

Turbo 4 Pro starts at CNY 1,999 ($274) for the 12/256GB base version and tops out at CNY 2,999 ($411) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB model.
