Real Madrid announce squad for second Champions League quarter-final game vs. Bayern

Real Madrid have announced their squad for Wednesday night’s UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg against Bayern Munich.

In addition to Thibaut Courtois (hamstring), Rodrygo (knee) and Aurélien Tchouaméni (suspended), Real Madrid will also be without Marco Asensio, with reports citing illness as the reason for his absence.

As expected, Kylian Mbappé has been included in the squad, having resumed training on Monday after the head knock suffered in Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw with Girona at the weekend.

The Spanish La Liga giants will be hoping to overturn the tie after losing the first match 1-2 at home last week. The second leg kicks off at the Allianz Arena at 21:00 CET.
