As the Premier League run-in gets into full swing, some fans may already begin to look ahead as next season’s kits begin to be leaked ahead of official launch.
Arsenal handed Manchester City a much needed lifeline last week as their home defeat to Bournemouth allowing Pep Guardiola’s side to close the gap to six points ahead of their trip to The Etihad this weekend.
Mikel Arteta’s side remain in pole position to secure their first Premier League title in 22 years, however, doubts are starting to creep in if their 26/27 home shirt will be emblazoned with a gold sleeve patch.
However, the Gunners will certainly be rocking a bold look next season, with FootyHeadlines leaking the new strip, which features multiple shades of red for a unique look.
Arsenal aren’t the only Premier League club to have their new uniform leaked, with FootyHeadlines holding quite the reputation for nailing designs ahead of official release.
Below, SPORTbible have rated the home shirts already live on their site ahead of next season, with any new or fresh updates to be found here.
Arsenal- 7.5/10
The new Arsenal home shirt keeps a lot of what works about their previous releases, with the new darker shade of red providing a fresh look for a potentially title defending side. However, the chequered cuffs on both the sleeves and collar aren’t entirely convincing, with the two shades of red mixing from a distance to create a third shade.

Aston Villa: 9/10
If the leaks are to be believed, Aston Villa will be returning to an all claret home shirt for the first time since returning to the Premier League, with the 2018/19 season the last time the Villains rocked claret sleeves.
The simple clean design, along with a translucent badge makes it an eye-catching modern take on a classic, with the shirt reportedly taking influence from the club’s 1969 kit.

Chelsea: 8.5/10
Nike’s take on the Chelsea home shirt for next season may raise some eyebrows, but we think it’s terrific. A bigger focus on the club’s traditional secondary colour of yellow is a bold but fashionable choice, with the London club last rocking yellow accents in the season following their Champions League win in 2021. A more minimalist badge is also introduced to the home shirt for the first time which doesn’t always work, but here it definitely does.

Leeds United: 7/10
Very similar to their current strip, Leeds Red Bull… I mean Leeds United, are set to be introducing horizontal stripes next season for the first time in their history. The design includes two colour cuffs which scream Leeds United, however, points must be docked for the Red Bull sponsor not being colour schemed for the shirt, which is understandable, but dissapointing.

Liverpool: 9/10
A stunning reimagination of Liverpool‘s 1989-91 home shirt, the 26/27 leak is nothing short of magnificent. With Adidas’ return to working with Liverpool resulting in significant praise last year, they could well be in for record sales despite Arne Slot side’s struggles on the pitch.
However, one change may not sit right with all scousers as the new strip is set to be a considerably darker shade of red than in previous seasons, with FootyHeadlines even labelling it ‘maroon’.

Manchester United: 7/10
Unfortunately for Man Utd fans, it doesn’t seem Adidas have assigned the same designers working at Anfield. It’s very hard to make a bad United kit, and this certainly isn’t one, however, the collar is holding an otherwise very clean shirt back. Adidas have taken inspiration from United’s iconic Admiral era of the 1970s, however, the collar design is far from the one worn by legends of the past.

Newcastle United: 4/10
The first real miss of the leaks so far, Newcastle are set to debut a barcode design as they look to bounce back from what has been a disappointing campaign under Eddie Howe this time around.
Like their current home shirt, light blue is back and here to stay, however, even a flash of colour isn’t saving this one for us. Maybe it will look better from the stands…

Man City: 6/10
A big switch-up from Puma, the Manchester City home shirt for next season is set to feature a faded transition from sky blue to white, in an attempt to visually blend the shirt into the shorts seamlessly.
The shirt also features a monochromatic club badge, which has previously been seen on the club’s away and third strips.
Maybe the right idea, but shirts that blend into shorts have never fully caught on, potentially for a reason.

Tottenham: 7.5/10
It’s no secret that Spurs fans will have far bigger concerns about what sleeve patch their players will be wearing next season, and it seems Nike might have similar concerns with their leaked shirt a very basic one. With a completely white base and navy nike swoosh, the only considerable design is diagonal striping on the front of the shirt, which reportedly takes inspiration from the Hummel shirts of the 1980s.
