The Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford is set to host a high-stakes Premier League showdown as Manchester United take on arch-rivals Arsenal on March 9, 2025. With the season in a crucial phase, both the clubs come into this contest with high stakes. Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim would be in huge pressure having won only two games since February.
The Portuguese manager, who has had a stumbling start since his arrival, is currently said to be on thin ice. Amid all the speculations of United already looking for his replacements, Amorim will have a point to prove. The 40-year-old who has got the better of Arteta twice in the past, will be looking to turn the tides his way as he tries to gain fans’ trust.
Arsenal, on the other hand, come into the game after a thumping 7-1 victory over PSV in the Champions League. However, given their history in this stage of the Premier League, Mikel Arteta wouldn’t take anything for granted. Being 16 points behind Liverpool with two games in hand, every game is like the finals for the North London club from here on.
