Manchester City are signing Wolves left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri in a deal worth £33.7million.
His former club Angers negotiated a 50 per cent sell-on clause but that will be bought out by Wolves for £9.7m before the deal is complete.
Talks are ongoing over bonuses but the Algerian is scheduled to have a medical on Saturday before linking up with City.
The defender has been admired by scouts at City for over 12 months as they looked for reinforcements to their back line.
Ait-Nouri is now deemed to have enough Premier League experience under his belt to make the move following an impressive campaign at Molineux.
The 23-year-old scored five goals in 41 appearances last season bringing his total at Wolves to 12 goals in 157 games. He has also provided 19 assists since moving to Molineux in 2020.

Reijnders said: ‘The Premier League is of course a great competition, that’s what you dream of as a little boy.
‘I haven’t had any contact with [Pep] Guardiola yet.’
Reijnders is coming off the back of an impressive campaign for the Serie A outfit in which he contributed 15 goals and five assists in 54 appearances in all competitions.
Milan may have only finished eighth in the table but the Dutchman’s performances saw him named the Serie A midfielder of the season.
