Everton  vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton lost in the 92nd minute against Fulham last Saturday after having taken the lead and wasting numerous chances in the second half. Since the start of December, only Burnley (5) and Wolves (6) have earned fewer points in the Premier League than Brighton (8).

Everton has kept five clean sheets in their last six Premier League away games (W4 D1 L1), including the last three consecutively (winning the last two). However, it’s also true that only the bottom two sides, Burnley (68) and Wolves (70), have had fewer shots on target than Everton (72) in the Premier League this season.

Therefore, a high-scoring game at the Amex Stadium is unlikely, and our in-house model BETSiE estimates that there is over a 51% chance that no more than 2 goals will be scored.

Pick: Under 2.5 Goals

Arsenal vs. Leeds United

Arsenal’s 3-2 defeat against Manchester United last Sunday marked its first home loss of the campaign and the first time it conceded three goals in a game in over two years. It was a performance riddled with defensive lapses and concentration errors, mis-hit passes, and poor touches, arguably Arsenal’s poorest showing of the season so far.

Leeds’ first-half performance against Everton, with 10 shots in the first 45 minutes, serves as a warning to Mikel Arteta’s side. Under Daniel Farke, Leeds is in good form; no team has lost fewer Premier League games since the start of December than Leeds (1). Only Villa, Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd, and Fulham have collected more points during that period than Leeds’ 15.

If, as expected, Arsenal is to return to winning ways, it might require a grinding performance, typical of the Gunners under Arteta this season. While the hosts have failed to score only once at home this season, Arsenal has secured four league wins to nil away from home and has kept five clean sheets.

Pick: Both Teams To Score – No

AFC Bournemouth vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolves were beaten 2-0 away to Manchester City last weekend, but, although the club is destined for relegation, there has been some improvement under Rob Edwards. The defeat against Pep Guardiola’s side ended a five-match unbeaten run across all competitions, picking up 75% of its points along the way.

Both teams have scored in Bournemouth’s last nine matches across all competitions, with those games seeing 4.44 goals on average. There have been three goals or more in seven of those games.

Andoni Iraola’s side comes into this game full of confidence, having beaten Liverpool 3-2. Bournemouth should have no problems creating against a Wolves side that is at the bottom of the league, but Rob Edwards will be confident that his side can contribute to an entertaining clash here.

Pick: Both Teams To Score – Yes & Over 2.5 Goals

West Ham United vs. Chelsea

Liam Rosenior’s appointment at Chelsea raised some eyebrows, but with two wins from two Premier League matches, there is a growing feeling that the former Strasbourg manager can steer the Blues to Champions League qualification.

However, it was clear that the Blues boss had some defensive concerns to address. Chelsea has looked vulnerable defensively at Stamford Bridge in recent months, keeping just two clean sheets in its last nine Premier League home games.

West Ham’s attacking output has also improved of late. The team has scored in five of its last six competitive matches, averaging 1.50 goals per game. Unfortunately for the Hammers, their opponents have averaged 1.67 goals per game during that run. This bet also won on West Ham’s most recent visit to Stamford Bridge. West Ham took the lead on that occasion, before Chelsea went on to win 2-1.

Pick: Chelsea To Win & Both Teams To Score – Yes

Newcastle United vs. Liverpool

Newcastle heads to Anfield following a 1-1 tie at PSG in France on Wednesday. Eddie Howe’s squad travels to Paris with injury concerns, especially in midfield. Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton missed the game on Wednesday evening, and are doubtful to take on Liverpool.

Liverpool underwhelmed in the Premier League once again, losing 3-2 to Bournemouth. However, Arne Slot’s side beat Qarabag 6-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday. They will receive a significant advantage against Newcastle’s depleted midfield, and we’re able to take Liverpool at the highest price they’ve been in years against Newcastle in the Premier League.

Over the previous four seasons, Liverpool have kicked off against Newcastle at an average price of 1.35, 1.36, 1.28, and 1.11 in the 1×2 market when playing at Anfield.

Pick: Liverpool To Win
