Photo: Injured Real Madrid stars join Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for Atlético clash

A trio of sidelined members of the first-team squad at La Liga giants Real Madrid joined their teammates on their journey for the club’s latest outing.

Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action in short order.

Turning attentions back towards matters on the continent, Los Blancos have made the short trip across Spain’s capital, for a Champions League Last-16 showdown with Atlético.

The evening’s visitors are currently in possession of a slender lead, owing to a 2-1 triumph in the tie’s opener last week.

As alluded to above, though, boss Carlo Ancelotti is evidently keen for his troops to be afforded every advantage which they can find.

In turn, three members of Real Madrid’s squad confined to the sidelines through injury at present have made the trip to the Metropolitano on Wednesday.

As showcased below, all of Dani Carvajal, Éder Militão and Dani Ceballos are present for tonight’s Madrid Derby action.
