Netflix subscribers can now watch Bridgerton breakout Phoebe Dynevor in a brand new shark thriller movie from Violent Night director Tommy Wirkola. As of today, Dynevor’s survival thriller film Thrash is finally available to stream on Netflix. This marks the British star’s latest movie with the streamer after 2023’s erotic thriller Fair Play.
What do we know about Phoebe Dynevor’s Thrash movie?
“Amidst a catastrophic hurricane, a coastal town battles nature’s wrath and an onslaught of sharks,” reads the official synopsis. “Braving torrential rain, debris, and darkness, they unite to survive the deadly predators and make it through the storm.”
Thrash was written and directed by Wirkola. The Norwegian filmmaker is best known for his work on the satire horror franchise Dead Snow, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, and Violent Night. Joining Dynevor are Djimon Hounsou, Whitney Peak, Matt Nable, Costa D’Angelo, Alyla Browne, Stacy Clausen, Elijah Ungvary, Andrew Lees, Amy Mathews, Gemma Dart, Dante Ubaldi, Jon Prasida, and more.
The movie was produced by Adam McKay and Kevin J. Messick, with D. Scott Lumpkin serving as an executive producer. The creative team consisted of cinematographer Matthew Weston, editors Jim Page and Martin Stoltz, production designer David Ingram, costume designer Emily Seresin, and composers Daniel Futcher and Dominic Lewis. Before Netflix picked up the project, it was originally set up at Columbia Pictures under the title of Shiver.
After Thrash, Dynevor will next be seen in M. Night Shyamalan’s newest supernatural movie, Remain, which will debut on February 5, 2027. She is also set to star opposite Zac Efron in the thriller film Famous, which hails from A24.
