A partial lunar eclipse will occur in Hong Kong on October 29, the Hong Kong Observatory announced today.
The lunar eclipse will begin at 1.59am, with the maximum eclipse occurring at 4.14am.
About 13% of the moon’s diameter will enter the umbra of the earth at the maximum eclipse.
If weather permits, the event can be directly observed with unaided eyes at places with an unobstructed view to the west.
