OnePlus has already officially confirmed the announcement date for its first foldable, October 19, while the leaksters took care of the rest by showing us the design and specs of the OnePlus Open. At this point, there’s nothing left to the imagination except pricing.
Today’s report is about the Indian launch and Abhishek Yadav believes the device will be released on October 27 with a price tag of INR 139,999 (~$1,680). That’s a hefty price, but it’s also not a big surprise, given that foldables still charge a price premium.
The price doesn’t seem all that different from the leaked one for Europe a couple of days ago, so we tend to believe the new report. A German source cited $1,699 as a European launch price with only two color options – faux leather black and glass back green. However, the Indian tipster shows the device in green and gold, so Indian users may get one extra color. We doubt that black, being the most commonly picked color, will be omitted from the Indian selection.
