OnePlus is bringing the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro on Thursday, December 26, and today, the devices were listed on TENAA with their full specs sheet. The listings confirmed the chipsets and batteries of the duo, revealing these will be the major difference between the vanilla and the Pro. Dimensions, screen size, and cameras will all be the same, just like any other Ace lineup.
The Ace 5 Pro will have a 4.32 GHz CPU, which confirms the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The regular Ace 5 will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, evident from the 3.3 GHz CPU. It seems OnePlus will bring a 6100 mAh with 100W wired charging to the Pro, while the vanilla will have a 6,400 mAh battery with “only” 80W.
Camera-wise, we are looking at a 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP combo on the back and a 16 MP selfie snapper on the front. The screen, 6.78” in diagonal with a 1264p resolution, will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Both phones will be 161.7 x 75.8 mm in size, and thickness will be around 8.1 mm, with the Pro being a hair thicker.
It seems like users in China will be able to pick a OnePlus Ace 5 with either 12 GB or 16 GB RAM, while storage options will be 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. The Ace 5 Pro will have more options, with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB choices in the mix.
This means the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro might be one of the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Elite phones on the market, but we believe the vanilla is the one that is going global as OnePlus 13R.
