Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 Details Revealed by Murray Bartlett

Murray Bartlett, whose last television projects were The White Lotus and The Last of Us, has provided some new details about Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2.

The psychological drama, based on Liane Moriarty’s New York Times best-selling book of the same name, follows nine strangers participating in a 10-day retreat program at a health-and-wellness resort that promises healing from their stressful city life. However, the resort’s enigmatic leader (played by Nicole Kidman) uses a mysterious method, hiding behind the promise of healing and transformation.

 What Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 details did Murray Bartlett share?

With new strangers gracing the resort for Season 2, Bartlett — one of the new cast members — teases what viewers can expect from the upcoming season. In an interview, the actor revealed that his character is a former children’s television host with a puppet. 

“It’s an amazing cast, there’s some great twists and turns in the story this season, and we shot in the most beautiful locations. It’s kinda gothic this season,” said Bartlett to Business Insider of Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2. 

The first season starred Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids), Michael Shannon (Knives Out), Samara Weaving (Ready or Not), Regina Hall (Girls Trip), Luke Evans (Dracula Untold), Bobby Cannavale (The Watcher), Manny Jacinto (The Good Place, Asher Keddie (Offspring), Melvin Gregg (Share), Tiffany Boone (The Chi), Grace Van Patten (Tell Me Lies), and Zoe Terakes (Talk to Me). The series was renewed for Season 2 last year, with Kidman confirmed to be returning as the resort’s leader, Masha. 

In addition to Bartlett, Season 2 will also star Dolly de Leon (Triangle of Sadness), Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians), Mark Strong (The Penguin), Annie Murphy (Russian Doll), Christine Baranski (The Good Fight), Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Jagged Mind), singer-songwriter King Princess, Aras Aydın (Island of Secrets), Lucas Englander (Transatlantic), and Lena Olin (The Ninth Gate). 

No release date has been set yet for Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2. Season 1 is available to stream on Hulu.
