Nicola Zalewski to return to full training tomorrow ahead of Inter vs Udinese

Wingback Nicola Zalewski is set to return to full training tomorrow ahead of Inter Milan’s Serie A clash with Udinese on Sunday.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They also report that Stefan de Vrij is in full training with the Nerazzurri squad, while Denzel Dumfries is undergoing physical therapy in the Netherlands.

Inter Milan wingback Nicola Zalewski has been on the sidelines for over a month now.

The issue for the Polish international – who joined Inter on loan from Roma in January – is a calf strain.

There has been no rush for Zalewski to return during the international break.

However, Inter are back in action imminently. The Nerazzurri host Udinese in Serie A this weekend in their return from the break.

Zalewski has been back in training with the rest of the squad. He completed part of a session today.

However, reports Sky, the 23-year-old was not quite ready for take part in the entire training session.

Tomorrow, however, Nicola Zalewski will train normally with the group.

Therefore, the Pole should be in the squad for Sunday’s match against Udinese.

That is certainly good news for Inter coach Simone Inzaghi. The Nerazzurri coach will be desperate for options to rotate at wingback considering the packed fixture list on the way.
