Netflix’s TV and movie release schedule for December 22 to December 28, 2025, includes The Closer Seasons 1-7, Sicily Express, Goodbye June, and Downton Abbey: A New Era.
On December 22, The Closer, Seasons 1-,7 drops on Netflix. The series focuses on Brenda Johnson, a police detective who leads a squad dealing with high-profile homicide cases. As such, skills prove to be useful in handling culprits and getting confessions while clashing with some of her colleagues.
Further, Sicily Express arrives on the streaming platform. It follows two Sicilian nurses named Salvo and Valentino who work in Milan. Soon, their lives take an interesting turn when a dumpster ends up transporting them to their families in seconds.
Also coming to Netflix is the family drama, Goodbye June. The film set during Christmas time revolves around four siblings whose lives turn upside down after their ailing mother’s health continues to worsen.
Additionally, Downton Abbey: A New Era will be available on the streaming platform. The romantic drama witnesses The Crawleys heading to Southern France to delve deep into the mystery of the newly inherited villa of the dowager countess. On the other hand, a film crew plans to shoot a silent film at Downton Abbey.
