New Realme GT5 Pro leak details the trio of Sony sensors

The next Realme flagship will be called GT5 Pro, and a rumor from this summer suggested an OmniVision OV64B sensor for the 3x telephoto camera. Now leakster Digital Chat Station revised the information, suggesting we will actually see three Sony sensors. The user also said the screen will have 1.5K resolution, which is a marketing term Chinese company erroneously use for 1220p panels.

If the new info is correct, we will see an IMX966 behind the main camera. It is said to be 1/1.4” in size, but perform on the same level as the 1” IMX989 thanks to its stacked structure. There will be a 48 MP IMX581 for the ultrawide camera, while the telephoto camera will have a 50 MP IMX890 sensor.

This isn’t the first time we hear about a Sony IMX966 sensor for the main camera and a 48 MP shooter for the ultrawide. We expect this combo to also appear on the OnePlus 12, which was reported to have the 64 MP OmniVision sensor for the periscope camera.
