As of today, Golden Globe winners Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick‘s reunion movie, The Best You Can, is now available for streaming on Netflix. Before this, the romantic comedy had its premiere at the 2025 Tribeca Festival.
This marks the long-time couple’s first time on screen together after twenty years. They previously starred in 1988’s Lemon Sky, 1991’s Pyrates, 1995’s Murder in the First, 2004’s Cavedweller, 2004’s The Woodsman, and 2005’s Loverboy.

The Best You Can is written and directed by Michael J. Weithorn. Joining Bacon and Sedgwick are Judd Hirsch, Brittany O’Grady, Olivia Luccardi, Ray Romano, Meera Rohit Kumbhani, Misha Brooks, Heather Burns, Rob Benedict, Victor Williams, and more. In addition to leading the cast, Bacon and Sedgwick are also serving as producers, along with Victoria Hill, Andrew Mann, Michael J. Weithorn, and Andrew Wonder.
Executive producers are Greg Clark, Zach Garrett, Judd Hirsch, Gretchen McGowan, Cindy Ambers, Cora Olson, and David L. Schiff.
