BOLIVAR, Mo. — A repair shop in Bolivar, Missouri, was fully engulfed in flames early on Sunday, March 8.
The Central Polk County Fire Protection District tells Ozarks First that crews responded to Bear and Son Automotive Repair at 5550 S. Scenic Ave. in Bolivar around 3:45 a.m. on Sunday.
The district says the owner lives on the property, and heard some noise outside and came out of their residence to find the shop on fire.

“We are sorry for the business owner’s loss,” the district said. “We want to help and support our community and help him in any way we can.”
There were no reported injuries during the incident.
Central Polk County states the Bolivar City Fire Department, Morrisville Fire Protection District, Pleasant Hope Fire Protection District, Dunnegan Rural Fire Department, Prairie Grove Rural Fire Department, Ebenezer Fire Protection District, Polk County Central Dispatch, Polk County Emergency Management, Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri Division of Fire Safety aided in the incident.
This incident remains under investigation.
