The acclaimed Apple TV+ series, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, is all set to return with a second season, and along with it, will arrive some big additions, like Titan X, a brand new Titan that will expand the exciting Monsterverse even further. Who is Titan X in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2?
Titan X made its debut in the new teaser for Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2. The second season of the show is set to premiere on February 27, 2026, after a successful first season that also received great critical acclaim.
The teaser for the upcoming season teases Titan X as the biggest threat yet. The tone of the teaser establishes that Titan X is someone bigger and stronger than King Kong and Godzilla. This means that the second season will center around this new monster.
The teaser seems to indicate that Titan X is a massive aquatic creature, featuring a gigantic, fish-like body and numerous hooked cephalopod-like tentacles. A lot is unknown about the creature.
Apple TV officially describes Titan X as, “Titan X isn’t just another monster; it’s a living cataclysm. When its massive bioluminescent form breaks the surface of the ocean, the world seems to hold its breath.”
It further adds, “In Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season two, Titan X stands at the center of the mystery — an ancient force emerging from the deep, its purpose uncertain, its power unmatched, its awe and terror in equal measure.”
Season 2 will try to outdo its predecessor with a bigger threat and more exciting fights. The cast for the upcoming season includes Curtiss Cook, Takehiro Hira, Cliff Curtis, Amber Midthunder, Camilo Jiménez Varón, and Dominique Tipper, among others.
