During Milan’s latest Serie A outing against Genoa, the young full-back emerged as a constant outlet down the flank, delivering a relentless stream of balls into the box.
According to Opta data, via MilanNews24, Bartesaghi attempted at least 20 crosses in a single league match, including set pieces, a figure that places him alongside David Beckham in the club’s modern history.
Bartesaghi matches Beckham milestone at Milan
To find the last Milan player capable of reaching that number, one must go back to January 2010, when Beckham achieved the same tally in a derby clash against Inter.
Back then, it was a global superstar nearing the end of his career dictating play from wide areas at San Siro.
