Mike Myers’ Elon Musk Interrupts Trump-Zelensky Meeting

Also during the Oval Office meeting, Trump and Vance complain about Ukraine’s Zelensky not saying how “handsome” they are

Saturday Night Live alum Mike Myers portrayed a cringe-inducing, chainsaw-wielding Elon Musk interrupting Donald Trump and J.D. Vance’s two-on-one attack of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The show’s cold open began with Trump (James Austin Johnson) and Vance (Bowen Yang) berating Zelensky (Mikey Day) for not being sufficiently thankful for aid against Russian aggression.

“President Zelensky,” Trump started, “You want to say a few words? Maybe tell Mr. Putin how much you love him and that you’re sorry you invaded Russia? Maybe offer him one night with your wife?”

Zelensky only got a few words out before being interrupted: “Mr. President, with all due respect–“

Vance loudly blurted out, “Excuse me!? I’m sorry, what!? I have to jump in here because that’s how we planned this. What happened to ‘thank you’? Remember ‘thank you’? You haven’t said ‘thank you’ once in the past 15 seconds I’ve been yelling at you.”

“You didn’t say anything about us being handsome,” he griped moments later, with Trump agreeing, adding that Zelensky’s attire was inappropriate.

“Who shows up to the White House in a t-shirt and jeans like a garbage person?” he said as Musk entered, spastically revving a chainsaw around Trump’s head and awkwardly jumping around.

“Hi-hi-hi guys,” he said, unable to speak normally. “Donald, what are you doing in my office? You know I’m the president now, right?”

Saying he may or may not have been joking, he bursted out moments later, waving his fists around: “Legalize comedy! Legalize comedy!” He then abruptly got quiet.

Trump’s response: “I’m so comfortable with all of that.”
