7th March 2025 – (Hong Kong) The MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong & Macao has revealed the latest recipients of the Bib Gourmand distinction, ahead of the full restaurant selection for the 2025 edition, set to be unveiled on 13th March 2025. Among the ten new establishments, nine are located in Hong Kong and one in Macao, bringing the total to 66 restaurants and street food vendors in Hong Kong and 11 in Macao, all recognised for providing excellent value for money.
Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide, remarked on the vibrant dining scene in Hong Kong and Macau, highlighting the remarkable diversity and culinary richness on offer. “This year, we are thrilled to welcome nine new additions from Hong Kong and one from Macao to the Bib Gourmand selection, encompassing a variety of cuisines including local street food, dim sum, Chiu Chow, Indian, and Mediterranean fare,” he said.
Notable new entries include Art & Taste, acclaimed for its Taiwanese classics, especially the signature braised beef noodle soup. Banana Boy, famous for its à la minute banana roti, has added new flavours since relocating. Chiu Ka Banquet offers traditional Chiuchow dishes in a charming setting, while Heartwarming (Prince Edward) delights diners with intense black sesame treats.

Hung’s Delicacies, led by Chef Hung, showcases Chiuchow cuisine with a focus on marinated meats, while Juno presents a Mediterranean-inspired menu crafted by Barcelona’s Chef Jordi Vallés Claverol. Keung Kee is noted for its comforting glutinous rice dishes, and Lulu Baobao features freshly made noodles and buns from its open kitchen.
In Macao, Justindia stands out with its unique take on Indian cuisine, offering an array of set menus and a 10-course tasting experience.
The complete list of the 17th edition of the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong & Macao will be announced at a ceremony on 13th March 2025 and will also be available digitally on the MICHELIN Guide’s official website and mobile app.
