LARAMIE, Wyo. — New details have emerged regarding one of Wyoming’s favorite coffee locale’s plans to expand its reach to one of the caffeine capitals of the state: Laramie.
A new press release from Metro Coffee Company detailed the development of its plans to open a new location in the heart of Laramie’s downtown. Details include the approximate location — a storefront across the street from the famous Buckhorn Bar on Ivinson Avenue — and the current timeline for the location’s grand opening.
Metro partner Sean Peverley, who attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie and still holds a lot of sentimental value for the community, said that he is excited to give back to a city that gave a lot to him.
“Laramie has always felt like that home away from home to me. It’s a place that values creativity, culture, and community — exactly what Metro Coffee Company is all about,” Peverley said in the release. “We’re excited to bring something familiar, yet fresh, to this amazing town that has given me so much.”
According to Peverley, more details regarding the expansion’s timeline will become available in a few months. One prospective storefront along Ivinson Avenue directly across from the Buckhorn Bar revealed a completely empty, yet vibrant and hopeful inside. The company did not reveal in the release which exact address will host the store, however.

Either way, the new location is a while away from operational status. Thankfully for the company, though, the new store will have the benefit of being captained by Carter and Ashlynn Peverley, Sean Peverley’s children and longtime stakeholders in the company’s Casper locations.
Finally, the release clarified that all of the most iconic Metro drinks that the company’s patrons have come to love will be available down in Laramie, which will make the city’s coffee community all the more vibrant.
