McDonald’s Newest Burger Has Fans Claiming It’s ‘So Much Better Than The Big Mac’

Grab your stretchy pants and a wad of napkins, because McDonald’s newest menu item means business. While the Big Mac is arguably one of the chain’s most iconic and hefty burgers with its two beef patties, American cheese, lettuce, onion, pickles, and Big Mac Sauce sandwiched between three sesame seed buns, their newest creation may give it a run for its money.

Introducing the Big Arch Burger: two quarter-pound beef patties with three slices of white Cheddar cheese, crispy and slivered onions, lettuce, pickles, and Big Arch Sauce sandwiched between toasted sesame seed buns. While the new burger has had a lot of success in other international markets, it will be making its American debut for the first time on March 3, 2026, but only for a limited time.

The burger McDonald’s is calling their “most Mcdonald’s, McDonald’s burger yet,” has already garnered global support, and fans on social media can hardly contain their excitement. Some claim it’s even better than the Big Mac.

  • “Looks better than the Big Mac going to give this a try.”

  • “I’m definitely gonna devour this.”

  • “Calling in sick that day so I can get there early. 😂”

  • “Had this yesterday. Was so good. RIP Big Mac.”

  • “So much better than the Big Mac.”

While we don’t condone skipping work to go try the new burger, if you’re interested in seeing what all the hype is about, just make sure to visit your nearest McDonald’s before it’s gone. And show up hungry, because you’re going to need your appetite for this one.
