57 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Marcus Rashford bursts forward – but his touch it too heavy, and it rolls out for a goal kick. He’s a threat, but he’s low on confidence, and that touch kind of sums up where he’s at right now.
55 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen – Rashford caught by goalkeeper – but offside!
Rashford runs forward – and is clipped by the goalkeeper just outside the box! This is interesting…
But it’s flagged for offside. The VAR angle suggests it’s tight – but the check is over, and we proceed as normal.
The goalkeeper is very lucky there. That could have cost them badly.
54 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen – Eriksen forces a great low save
Hojlund lays the ball back to Christian Eriken, and the substitute made a great low drilled shot, which forces Copenhagen’s masked goalkeeper Grabara to get low himself to save it.
Man United pressing for that opener now.
52 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen – Hojlund goes down in the box – no penalty
The Dane tries to fight his way past the defence, but goes down. The referee does nothing, but there’s calls for a penalty. It’s checked, and not deemed to be an offence, he was just trying to get the ball and stumbled.
50 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen – Lerager forces Onana into a great save
Claesson passes the ball to Lerager on the edge of the box, and he cracks a fierce shot at goal, which forces Andre Onana to reach and tip it wide.
From the resulting corner, Copenhagen are trying to get into a good position, but it eventually amounts to nothing when a volley is hammered far over the bar.
49 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
At the other end, Goncalves makes a smart ball into the box, but Onana is able to get in front of Elyounoussi and prevent any danger from Copenhagen for the time being.
48 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Reguilon takes a shot from about 25 yards up, but it’s deflected and loops up for a comfortable catch for Grabara.
Still, at least Man United are trying to take some more shots.
47 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Hojlund gets beyond the Copenhagen defence, but his ball across the box is fruitless as there’s no one in there.
Second half underway: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Amrabat off, Eriksen on
Eriksen is coming on for the second half, replacing Amrabat in the interval.
Eriksen warming up for Man United
The introduction of Eriksen could change the course of this game. He’s been used wisely from the bench before this season.
Man United post the Sir Bobby Charlton tribute
Man United’s X account has posted the video of tonight’s tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton.
Diogo Goncalves
Diogo Goncalves was the man who hit the post early in that first half, and if he’d just been on target, it feels like it would have been a very different game so far.
HALF-TIME: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
The TNT TV coverage clock said 44:45, but the referee’s blown for the half. To be fair, possibly not a bad move, because there was nothing happening in that first half.
What will the managers make of that pretty tired first half?
44 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Man United look to break, and Marcus Rashford was in acres of space, but the ball to him was just too short. An excellent opportunity for the Red Devils goes begging.
44 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Goncalves takes a crack from just outside the box, and McTominay deflects it wide for a Copenhagen corner.
The ball is whipped in, but evades everyone.
42 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
The visitors get forward, and a ball is crossed deep to Achouri, but there’s just not enough room for him to get it under control and it goes out for a goal kick.
41 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Final few minutes before half-time at Old Trafford.
Lots for both Erik ten Hag and his Copenhagen counterpart Jacob Neestrup to talk about at the interval.
38 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Achouri takes a shot from the edge of the penalty area, but it’s just wide of Onana’s post.
34 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Copenhagen send the ball forward, but Onana gathers. Fans are asking for urgency from the goalkeeper as Man United look to move forward.
The hosts do send it down the other end, but Scott McTominay’s header in the middle of the box is high.
33 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Now it’s Copenhagen trying to play the ball forward, but there’s not much energy from the visitors, and Man United aren’t trying to close them down either.
30 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Half an hour down, and Diogo Goncalves hitting the post has been the most notable moment so far.
28 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
The game is getting bogged down in midfield, Man United not really sure how to get forward into promising positions, and Copenhagen happy to let the hosts have the ball.
23 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Midway through the first half, and Man United put together some flowing play, Antony running into the box, but it deflects off Scott McTominay and goes away for a goal kick.
18 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Dalot makes a great ball across the box, and Hojlund goes for it, but Copenhagen are able to frustrate it and get the ball away.
In the next attack, Man United come forward again, and the Danish defence are forced into heading out for a corner.
16 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
A great ball is played through to Hojlund, but he blasted his shot high above the bar.
It’s clear he’s desperate to get on the scoresheet tonight though, especially with all his Man United goals coming in the Champions League.
13 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
It’s been a cagey start, neither side wanting to make the first mistake. Who will break through first?
10 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
The opening ten minutes pass at Old Trafford, and it’s still scoreless. Copenhagen closest to breaking the deadlock so far.
That pre-game tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton
5 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen – visitors hit the post!
The Dansh visitors break forward, and Goncalves makes a blistering shot, which hits the post and bounces back into play. Copenhagen couldn’t do anything with the follow-up, but they came close!
4 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
Rasmus Hojlund attempts to put Grabara under pressure in the Copenhagen goal, but the masked keeper is just about able to get the ball away.
2 mins: Man United 0-0 Copenhagen
The Danish champions win an early corner, but it amounts to nothing.

About three minutes to go in Turkey, plus stoppages, but it looks like Bayern will make it three wins from three in Group A.
