At the climax of Turbo, as Jose desperately tries to escape the city with his mother, Indulekha, and her sister, their car is struck by a truck, leaving them severely injured. Amidst the chaos, Vetrivel’s goons arrived and forcibly abducted Indulekha. Determined to protect his loved ones, Jose sent his mother and Indu’s sister to safety at Andrew’s house.

However, on his way to rescue Indulekha, Jose learned from Vetrivel that Andrew had betrayed him by revealing their location. Vetrivel offered Jose a cruel choice: save either his mother or Indulekha. Despite the grim situation, Jose chose to confront Vetrivel and save Indulekha.

Upon reaching Vetrivel’s hideout, Jose battled through a horde of henchmen, sustaining severe injuries in the process. The final showdown between Jose and Vetrivel was intense, with Jose ultimately emerging victorious. Why did Jose move to Chennai?

The film began with Venky and his family being visited by individuals posing as company employees who claimed to be delivering gifts. After a call with Venky, his wife grew suspicious of the visitor’s intentions. Tragically, the situation escalated: one of the intruders killed Venky, while the others murdered his wife and child.

The story then shifted to Jose and his mother, who were approached by two individuals who persuaded her not to allow Jose to attend the festival that year. Although she was initially hesitant, she eventually agreed, leaving for the festival on her own. At the event, Jose’s friend Jerry was attacked by a group of people. Hearing the commotion, Jose arrived in his jeep and intervened, saving Jerry, who suffered a severe head injury and was hospitalized.

Jose learned that the attackers were related to Jerry’s girlfriend, Indulekha, and they discovered their plan for a court marriage between Jerry and Indulekha. Without informing Jerry, Jose confronted Indulekha at her home, forcibly bringing her to Jerry’s house and making her stand before him. Jerry, under pressure, denied knowing Indulekha in front of his family.

Jose then put Indulekha on a bus to Chennai, but when he learned that Indulekha’s family had filed a kidnapping case against him, he tried to convince her to return home. When she refused, he decided to accompany her to Chennai. After arriving in Chennai, Jose began living with Indulekha in her flat. On the other hand, Jerry also traveled to Chennai to reconcile with Indulekha. However, Indulekha remained infuriated with Jerry and refused to engage with him. Despite Jerry’s persistent attempts to persuade her, she remained unmoved.

Why did Vetrivel chase Jose & his family?

Amidst this tension, Jerry discovered that a significant sum had been transferred using his pass key ID without his knowledge. As Jerry was working as a bank manager, he investigated further with his colleague. Soon, Jerry uncovered that the scam had been orchestrated by a notorious gangster named Vetrivel. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Vetrivel ordered his men to eliminate Jerry. Initially, Jose suspected Jerry’s death to be a suicide, but Jerry’s bank colleague later revealed the truth to him and provided documents implicating Vetrivel.

Enraged by the threat Jose and Indulekha posed, Vetrivel orchestrated an attack on Indulekha. Determined to protect her, Jose vowed to keep her safe. However, Jose collaborated with Billa Don to rescue Indulekha’s sister and devised a plan for her mother’s escape.

As they fled the city, a truck collided with their car, injuring everyone. Vetrivel’s men seized Indulekha during the chaos. In the film’s climax, Jose confronts and kills Vetrivel. In a dramatic post-credit scene, Jose receives a threatening call from someone claiming Vetrivel had been just a minor player and warning that a greater challenge lay ahead.
