Loved ones search for missing 15-year-old Southern California boy

Family members are searching for a missing Southern California boy who was last seen in Torrance.

Carlos Arturo Quintero, 15, was reported missing on March 20, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Quintero, who is considered at-risk, was last seen near the 1000 block of West Carson Street around 3 p.m. Family members noted that the teen has a mental health disorder.

He is described as a Hispanic male who stands 6 feet tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and a scar on his chest. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, green scrubs, red shorts and black eyeglasses.

It’s unclear where he may have been heading when he disappeared. His loved ones have not heard from him since and are concerned for his well-being.
