Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Kevin Yeung will depart tomorrow for a visit to three Mainland cities, including Xiamen, Dongguan and Shenzhen.
In Xiamen, apart from meeting senior officials of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Culture & Tourism, Mr Yeung will attend the opening ceremony of the China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival and relevant programmes.
Regarding his visit to Dongguan, the culture chief plans meet senior officials of the municipal government.
On his agenda for Shenzhen, Mr Yeung will attend the opening ceremony of the 24th Shenzhen Reading Month on the morning of November 4 and will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon.
During Mr Yeung’s absence, Under Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Raistlin Lau will be Acting Secretary.
